Billing & Payment Processing
This page describes how billing works for Cloackit and the payment-processor relationships behind your invoice. It is written so a payment-processor reviewer can clear our application without further questions.
Merchant of record
The merchant of record for paid plans and wallet top-ups is OXIZO COMMERCE LLC (900 Bonita Dr, Aspen, CO 81611, United States). Where we use a third-party payment processor that acts as a reseller of record (for example Paddle), that processor will appear on your card statement and on the tax invoice; OXIZO COMMERCE LLC remains the operator of the Service.
Card descriptors
Charges typically appear as "CLOACKIT" or "PADDLE.NET* CLOACKIT" on your statement. If you don't recognise a charge, contact support@cloackit.com before opening a dispute and we will identify the account and resolve it.
Supported currencies & taxes
Plans are priced in USD. Where we sell through a reseller of record (e.g. Paddle), local currency conversion, VAT/GST/sales-tax calculation and invoicing are handled by that reseller. Where we charge directly, you are responsible for any taxes not collected by us.
Renewals & cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price. You can cancel at any time from the dashboard; cancellation stops the next renewal and your plan remains active until the end of the paid period.
Disputes & chargebacks
Before opening a chargeback, please contact support@cloackit.com — most "I didn't recognise this charge" cases are resolved within one business day. We will provide our payment processor with the evidence required to defend disputes (signup IP, login history, invoice, terms acceptance, usage logs). Accounts with chargebacks may be suspended pending resolution to protect the platform from fraud.
Anti-fraud & sanctions screening
We screen payments and account activity for fraud, money laundering, and sanctions exposure (see our AML & KYC Policy). We may refuse payment, request additional verification, or hold balances where required by law.
Age & jurisdiction
The Service is sold to businesses and to individuals aged 18 or older. It is not offered in jurisdictions where its use is illegal or where we are restricted by sanctions.
